Locking the Tag's Memory

Locking your tags prevents the tags from being edited. This is a requirement for all GS1 tags being submitted to ALEC for approval.

Locking the Tag's Memory

  • Navigate to the Print Jobs menu in the left menu
  • Before starting the print job, click the "EPC Lock" check-box

  • This will permanently lock the tag and prevent it from being re-encoded
