This article describes the process of getting a fresh count of your inventory in Simple RFID

This feature is currently only available for customers using our Shopify integration

What is an Audit

Audit?

An Audit allowsis essentially a full or partial recount of your current inventory for a specific location. While you toare comparescanning yourthese products, you will be comparing the items the scanner picks up, and the count on Shopify. This is useful if you want the current inventory counts into Simplebe RFIDsynced againstto anShopify. externalAfter inventory.

Toyou perform an Audit, navigateyou will need to visit the Resolve & Sync center to push these counts to Shopify.

Audit page

The Audit page is in Simple RFID Web Portal,. and clickSelect Audit onfrom the sidenavigation barmenu

This page shows every previous Audit performed. You willcan seeview any of the previous Audits, or complete them from this page by clicking on a fewspecific differentAudit.

  1.are Filtersfilters tofor seethe previousAudits Audits. Thesethat include the Location,Location, the Type (Full, Partial, Template), the Current Status,Status (Draft, Open, Completed, etc.), and Date.

  2.the CreateDate.

• Click the blue plus button on the top right of the page to create a new Audit button

Create a New Audit

PressSelect the Create New Audit button

Enter the Name of the Audit, the Source of the comparison, the Location, and the Products

ThereProducts are a few different types of Auditsinclude:

• Full: All of the products in your location

• Partial: Specific products that you define

• Template: To be added

Creating the Audit will put it in Draft mode.status. You can find this new Audit in the Audit page.

If you are doing a partial Audit, you can search and add the products that you want to compare.

SelectingFrom this page, you can Assign a user to this specific Audit, add Notes for future reference, or Delete the audit. To start scanning, press the Start Audit willbutton.

Performing pullthe yourAudit

The inventory counts from Shopify,Shopify inwill orderbe toloaded comparein, itand withthe aScanned scancounts session(this will always be 0 at the start).

InTo thescan Simpleitems RFID mobile app, you can findinto this AuditAudit, innavigate to the Audit page.page You will seeon the AuditSimple youRFID made.mobile Clickapp. on it to see the products you will be scanning, and select Start Scan. You will be taken to a scanning page, with the products and their expected values in Shopify.

From here, you can doselect the Audit that you just created, and start a scanScan.

While asyou normal,are andscanning, the products will be put into three differentseparate categories:

• Under Expected: Shopify has more items than you scanned

• Over Expected: Shopify has less items than you scanned

• Matched: Shopify and your scanned amount are the same

These categories will be used to resolve any discrepancies later in the process.

After you upload the scan, the Audit page will update to show the scanned amounts, and the difference between Shopify and all scans

When you are finished scanning, press the Complete Audit button. This will change the status to Completed.

Once you complete the Audit, you can go to the Resolve & Sync page to sync your inventory to Shopify.
